Any end data on oxygen usage and/or medication need after patients started using the device?

Patient experience confirms that the use of the Breather has decreased the use of medication (http://www.pnmedical.com/testimonials/) and/or the oxygen usage in people with emphysema and chronic bronchitis, which is in line with literature findings that increased inspiratory muscle strength in peak inspiratory flow is associated with better lung deposition and fine particle output of dry powder inhalers and reduced use. Reduced bronchodilator use has also been observed in pediatric asthma patients in response to RMT.

Direct studies measuring oxygen usage after RMT are lacking to date, but based on the repeated findings of improved oxygen uptake in response to RMT, one might expect a reduction in oxygen usage as reported by Breather users.
