Using the Breather makes me feel lightheaded. Why is that?

Almost everyone gets lightheaded and may feel they are hyperventilating when they are new to Respiratory Muscle Training (RMT).

Your body needs time to adjust to the increased exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide. It may take you a week or two before the lightheadedness subsides while training.

When it does occur during a session, pause for several minutes, breathing normally without The Breather and then continue. If the lightheaded feeling persists, stop and contact your care provider. You are welcome to contact us as well.
